Not on its own. The listing that matches the work has to be identified first, and then the qualification is measured against whatever that entry specifically names.
The entry chooses the evidence, not the applicant
A designation is strong professional evidence, and in some entries it is exactly what is called for. In others the rule names a baccalaureate or licenciatura degree, or a licence, and a designation is not automatically a substitute. The order that avoids trouble is to describe the work, locate the entry that covers it, read that entry in full, and only then ask which of the applicant’s records satisfies it. Applicants who reason in the opposite direction — starting from the credential they are proudest of and looking for a listing it might fit — end up describing a job that does not match the engagement. Where more than one entry could plausibly apply, take advice on which one the actual duties support rather than choosing the one with the easier rule.
First review produces a matrix matching each proposed duty to the chosen listing and its qualification route. The decisive record is usually the official degree, licence, or required experience evidence, not a recruiter’s description. Sequence the review by fixing duties before ordering evaluations or translations. A mismatch often arises when a business calls a role “consulting” while its daily work is sales or management. Hypothetical example: a hydrographic cartographer is offered a fixed-term shoreline-mapping assignment; the task list and the degree record determine whether the proposed profession and credential align.
